Hello, I’m Luana. I’m a Belgian karateka who started competing at the age of 12. I joined the national team at the age of 15. I’ve won 9 Belgian Championship titles and in 2012 was 7th in the World Championship. 

So I realized one of my dreams; to become a professional athlete in 2018. And it’s all thanks to my hard work and training, but also to the support of Adeps, who believed in me. I’ve also been an avid track and field athlete since 2008. I was able to win a few regional titles in the 100 and 200 metres. Running is a big part of my life and I’m even thinking of changing careers. Since 2013, I’ve been coaching on a group or personal basis, and I use all my experience as an athlete to help my coachees excel and enjoy their efforts.
