What made you love trail running?
Trail running gave me a feeling of freedom I had never experienced before. It’s not just about running — it’s about connecting with nature, respecting the environment, and realizing how strong our bodies can be. I fell in love with the sense of adventure, the chance to explore raw, untouched beauty, and to reach places that only your own two feet can take you. Being outdoors, on uneven ground, in ever-changing conditions – it reminded me that we are capable of so much when we work with nature, not against it
Your first trail?
My first trail race was the 6 Foot Track in the Blue Mountains of Australia. I didn’t grow up trail running, so lining up at the start felt like stepping completely into the unknown. The ground was bone-dry; the climbs were brutally steep — and I loved every second of it. That day opened my eyes to a whole new side of sport: one that’s not just about chasing times, but about embracing the journey, the terrain, and the incredible community that shares the trails with you.
Why did you join MOOV360?
I joined MOOV360 because it stands for everything I believe in – building a supportive community for women in sport, celebrating the power of movement, and respecting the world we move through. I’m passionate about making trail running more accessible, less intimidating, and more sustainable, and MOOV360 is creating exactly that space.
Your fondest memory of a race or outing?
Finishing OCC last year is a moment I’ll never forget. Coming into the finish chute after a huge journey through the Alps, I had my grandma, my mum, my boyfriend, and two close friends from Australia waiting for me. Seeing their faces after such a tough race made me realize that the best part of running isn’t just crossing the finish line – it’s sharing those moments with the people who believe in you. It was pure joy, gratitude, and pride all rolled into one.
A post-run ritual?
My post-run ritual always includes eating ice cream – specifically pistachio! It’s my little celebration after a big effort. No matter where I am in the world, I always find a way to track down a scoop.
What motivates you to go out running even when you don’t feel like it?
I always remind myself that movement is a privilege. Running isn’t just training – it’s a way of honoring my body, clearing my mind, and connecting with nature. Even when motivation is low, I know I’ll return home feeling stronger, calmer, and more grateful.
An unexpected facet of your personality?
I look adventurous on the trails, but hand me a map and I will still find a way to get lost. My sense of direction is purely “vibes-based” — luckily, trail markers exist.
